Michael Hakim Week 4 - Going Out for Lunch
Going out for lunch is something that I really enjoy at school. To me, it is very important that I have a break from school for me to be able to focus in class. My case of Senioritis is at an all-time high, and I often have trouble focusing during class as there is always so much on my mind. This lunch break is enough to get me back on track throughout the day so that I can focus on my classes later in the day. Though my wallet has been suffering a bit due to the heavy inflation of prices nowadays, it is completely worth it, as I don’t know how I would be able to focus without this.
During lunch, I like to go to many places, but my go-to's have been Dunkin’ Donuts, Subway, Bolay, Einstein, and of course, Starbucks (my favorite!). Whenever I go to these places with my friends it is such a nice break from the reality of school. It is always so calming and grounding to be able to catch up with friends while enjoying my favorite foods.
I am so thankful that Donna Klein gives seniors the privilege of doing this. To me, it is one of the very best things about our school. I honestly don’t know what I would do if I couldn’t go out for lunch. I struggle with staying in the same place all the time, and going out for lunch is a great way to cure this feeling!
Do you prefer to go out for lunch or stay at school? What are your go-to places to eat at?
I tend to stay at school for lunch, but I completely agree that lunch is a great time to catch a break and relax for a bit. I would like to go out more, but I wouldn't want to spend too much money and I fully well know that I would be tempted to miss the rest of the day.
ReplyDeleteI usually stay at lunch for school because there are so many clubs during lunch, and it saves me more money, but when I do go out my favorite places to go are Olive U and Just Salad.
